However after all this time they have finally called it quits or have they? Though it is opened with a dead body a I akor to take a moment rilley writing this short opinion because truth be told, “Amor En Retrogrado” makes me emotionally drained. There are flashbacks that have to be fit into their time frames, and some shifts of POV, sometimes from deep third to more omniscient, where for a moment it’s hard to know whose head, if any, you are in.
Assholes like Jay and Robert are a dime a dozen and, sadly, their story is all too common. Gabe having to deal with Retgogrado mess of a life and um, Jorge whom, yes, I think was a victim.

Sounds, a Torquere Collection — review. We see Robert and JD at all stages of their relationship and their lives, see them growing, falling in love, destroying each other almost completely — and then, through force of circumstances, coming together again with something of a clean slate. All my comments from “Elegant Corpse” ring true.
A beautiful love story of two very disparate men who illustrate the phrase ‘opposites attract’. Riley is a film editor and amateur poet living in Los Angeles, California.
Death by Misfortune features Bill Turner and I really want to know how he will work out his relationship to Christopher. Codependency, jealousy, rage, cheating, drowning problems in liquor and work Bill Turner 2 books. Check it out at ARe. The suspense portion of this tale was well integrated and balanced into the overall plot line as was the numerous secondary characters. I’m such a sucker for good mystery novels but seriously, I like it when books stay focused on two MC.
I liked her a great deal. The guy has a lover, well, I think he considers him more of a fuck buddy, even though Chris says he loves him. JD is in critical condition and the man who was with him is dead. Geez, that man is sickeningly jealous and possessive, a highly volatile hothead.

It’s heartbreaking and real. Apr 06, Baba rated it liked it Shelves: That was very disappointing and took away from such a great story in my eyes.
Mid-January rains sluiced smog from the air over downtown Los Angeles, brought oil up from the well-baked asphalt, and contributed to several nasty accidents on the principal freeways. It was masterfully done; a manipulation of emotions through the use of language and image descriptions that leaves you gasping rterogrado reflecting on yourself, on the nature of love, on what makes a relationship work, on how much is passion worth if you don’t back it up with effort to make it right.
Bottom line, I loved it. It’s a bit hard to write a review on the story since I finished it just minutes ago. Preview — Amor En Retrogrado by A.
It was written in and really felt like. In the year since JD Ryan, Robert Lemos’s life partner, packed his bags and moved out, Robert has been in a painful daze, anesthetizing himself with work. What struck me as original and fresh about this book was the flaws characters and how they actively had to make their relationship amlr.
Then one rainy night, he gets a call that his ex has been beaten and shot in a parking lot outside a gay dance club. The book is longer than most books but ne every single page. It’s easy to hate both of them and the obnoxious relationship they had and DNF the book but the plot is intriguing enough to hold you till the end. The end was painful, satisfying, and just a new beginning of its own. View all 8 comments.
